Expect in 2022: Asus Zenfone 9, ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro, all with secondary displays and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1
The Asus ZenFone 9 ZS670KL is the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 handset for the ZenFone series, and is also a new generation of the Asus ZenFone 6 series.
The ZenFone 9 will be the first phone with two secondary displays, and also an 8.0-inch 2K UHD secondary display, similar to the Samsung Galaxy A9. The dual display is called the Dual-View and it has a resolution of 3840x2160.
The phone has a regular camera with a resolution of 20 MP and a 3x optical zoom. The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP and a f/1.8 aperture.
The phone also has dual speakers that are placed on the back, with two ceramic vibration motors. One of the speakers is located in the bottom of the phone and the other is on the back of the device.
A 32-bit Hi-Fi DSP is on board and has a total of eight microphones. It can reduce background noise and has an additional six-channel surround sound. The DSP uses Qualcomm’s SoundCore x86 chipset.
The phone has a 4,500 mAh battery, and will be the first to feature Qualcomm’s Spectra 280 wireless charging.
The ZenFone 9 will be available in the color Pearl Pink, as well as Blue and Platinum.
It was launched during CES in Las Vegas in January 2018.

Asus ZenFone 6 ZS570KL: first Asus ZenFone with secondary display
The ZenFone 6 will be the first device in the Asus ZenFone 6 series to feature a secondary display, called Dual-View. The second screen has a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels, and will be the first Asus phone with an 8-inch display.
The phone will be available in four colors, Gold and Platinum, but not in Blue.
The phone will have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, and will be equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset.
It will have three cameras and a Snapdragon X20 modem, and will be available in the US and Canada from February 2019.
The Asus ZenFone 6 has a 20 MP rear camera and a front-facing 8 MP camera, with an aperture of f/2.0. It will also feature Qualcomm’s Spectra 280 wireless charging.
The phone has a 4,000 mAh battery and will be available in Gold, Blue, and Platinum.

ZenFone 6 and 6 Pro: All-new Asus smartphones with secondary display
Asus has added a dual-screen for the new ZenFone 6 series, with two new devices, the Asus ZenFone 6 and the Asus ZenFone 6 Pro.
Both devices are made of plastic and have a 6.39-inch full-HD IPS display.
The Asus ZenFone 6 has a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, while the Asus ZenFone 6 Pro has a resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels.
The ZenFone 6 Pro has a 2.35-inch display in front, with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels, and the ZenFone 6 has a 2.15-inch display in front, with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
The Asus ZenFone 6 is also the first phone to support dual-view and dual-display, allowing you to have two apps on the device at the same time.
The phone has an aluminum body and a 5.99-inch water resistant camera, with a resolution of 20 MP and a f/2.0 aperture.
There is a 32-bit Hi-Fi DSP onboard that has eight microphones and Qualcomm’s SoundCore X86 chipset.
The Asus ZenFone 6 will be available in the colors Gold and Platinum.
